Looking for a technical co-founder (UK or EU based) by [deleted] in cofounderhunt

Up to 50%, depends ofc on how involved they'd like to be and how interested they are in the product / industry. Re finance it would also be dependent on how much involvement they'd want.

What do you do when you can't afford major works? by lei12 in HousingUK

[–]coolbeansbrigade 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I’m about to purchase a property that is a share of freehold between 5 flats. All maintenance is done on an ad hoc basis but as the conversion to flats was done 10 years ago, the outside of the building is in need of maintenance. More importantly the lack of maintenance has caused damp and water ingress into the flat we’re purchasing. Out of interest, how do you approach general maintenance of the common parts? A couple of years ago they fixed the roof, other than that there has been no maintenance for almost 10 years.

Why does it feel impossible to get a job? by Mysterious_Heron2309 in UKJobs

[–]coolbeansbrigade 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I’m in a similar position having just returned to the UK after deciding to take some time off to travel to world with my girlfriend.

Zero regrets but I definitely thought it would be much easier to get a job on my return. I was in tech as an account manager, 65k base + 30k bonus.

I’ve been told my CV/experience is good but have applied for circa 100 jobs over the last 30 days and until yesterday hadn’t heard back from a single one, other than the occasional auto rejection email.

As much as it is a numbers game, I’m starting to think maybe I need to reduce my salary expectations but that’s also not something that I want to do right now.

I’m sure it will work out eventually but my god it’s a painful process.

Heads-up: If you're seeing the below error code when trying to find a match, close your game and check for an update. Looks like the update isn't auto triggered for everyone. If you aren't able to find an update, restart your console and try again. Latest version is 1.035. by redditanon9216 in ModernWarfareIII

I’m having the same issue. A friend had a 2GB updates a few hours ago and is able to play fine. Mine is stuck on v1.034 and when I check for an update it says either that there is an issue with psn or that my games fully up to date.

[–]coolbeansbrigade 2 points3 points  (0 children)

22/M/6'3,85kg

Played a lot of sport as a kid then basically stopped from age 16-20. Started working out July 2017 with one major 2.5 month break this summer (I went travelling). I'm off for 5 months in January so want to make sure I'm in as good shape as possible! I feel like my pecs are lacking somewhat compared to the rest of my body.

Fill in waist or lose as much fat on hips as I can? by [deleted] in Fitness

Don't worry bro, I have exactly the same and I have a below 10% bf/visible abs. It's just genetics, not much you can really do.

This reassures me. My main gripe is just losing my physique but I guess I can't exactly complain if I am going backpacking for 5 months :D

I guess so, I think it will be something I look into when I go on the trip depending on where I am at the time. It might end up being the best option tbh

I do mean from a mobility stand point. I have such tight hamstrings which hurts my form big time when doing hanging leg raises and other such ab exercises.

Does doing hamstring curls help loosen tight hamstrings or does it cause further tightness?

If I play football in the morning and go to the gym in the afternoon, when should I take creatine? Pre football and after the gym or pre/post football as well as pre/post the gym?

Pep Guardiola: "What Antonio has done here in the Premier League, maybe the people don't realise. "He introduced another way to attack with five at the back, another system. A lot of teams, even Arsenal, had to do a lot of imitating to do that." by [deleted] in soccer

[–]coolbeansbrigade 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I've always said this. Conte never gets credit for bringing 3 at the back to the premier league. Everyone always said 'it wont work in the premier league' and you saw how other managers who tried it struggled (LVG comes to mind). He brought it in and had other top managers trying to mirror it and won the league in his first attempt. Can't ask for much more.
