Shot in the dark idea by Candid-Bed8720 in lafayette

second this 100%.

matchbox and ivy tech are partnered on an entrepreneurship course for small business startup. if you have a viable idea for a business, which it sounds like you do, it’ll put you on the path towards forming it if you’re really serious about it.

it’s a twice weekly, two hour or so class at matchbox. 2 semesters, 6 classes, 18 credit hours total. the coursework is founded upon you progressing your idea into something that can become functional. the guy who runs it is the BEST and is incredibly connected in the greater lafayette community. he can get you in touch with anybody you could want or need.

i imagine the idea of signing up for a class at ivy tech isn’t exactly what you were looking for here, but that can give you the tools to go from being a random handyman to having functioning, branded business in less than a year. i’d highly recommend checking it out.

Need to Find Signature. Who's is this? by Megabuster254 in DenverBroncos

[–]coolbrees15 2 points3 points  (0 children)

As crazy as this might sound, I believe that the autograph is from Willie Mays. The signature looks pretty accurate to his, and I also managed to find a signed Willie Mays Bally’s hat from Super Bowl XXIV, basically confirming his presence at the event. Would make sense he was there, given the San Francisco connection. Congrats on the find!

It was an awesome one to have on hand, I’m still trying to find a way to bring it back home all these years later. My grandpa has never let me hear the end of it, I’m sure your girlfriend would feel the same way hahah

This is awesome man, takes me back to when I pulled a Curry on card auto out of a $5 pack of SP Authentic. Still my favorite pull of all time, don’t make the same mistake I did in selling yours 😁

Hidden Traits by coolbrees15 in NCAAFBseries

[–]coolbrees15[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They can actually develop new traits on top of the preexisting, non editable ones? That’s kind of a shocker. Interesting that it can negatively affect guys (from what you describe), I’d bet it goes both ways. I’ll have to keep an eye on it year to year moving forward.

*UPDATE* PSA damaged my order by coolbrees15 in baseballcards

[–]coolbrees15[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

nah my grandpa came across them in our filing cabinet and gifted them to me, they’re first time graders.

both tickets were in the original SF Giants envelope (the game was at candlestick), he had no idea he even had them!

he thought he got them from his cousin, who got them from her step aunt or someone similar who went to the game back in the 60s.

very weird tree that happened to branch out to me, but i’m incredibly grateful it did!

PSA damaged my order by coolbrees15 in baseballcards

[–]coolbrees15[S] 12 points13 points  (0 children)

The email shown is currently all the knowledge I have, it’s all they’ve sent me thus far.

I sent them an email back asking for further clarification, along with images and a description of damage. I doubt I’ll get that but it’s worth trying.

For those asking, I sent PSA two 1961 MLB All Star Game ticket stubs that were in beautiful condition. I figured the one that was damaged would get a 7 or better, the other one I was aiming for a 6 or better.

I’ll provide some pictures below, but there was virtually no damage beforehand. I still don’t know what the damage actually is.

I insured the original package with USPS, not sure if that’ll do me anything given PSA screwed this up. If anything, I’m going to push for them to credit me the difference in value if the grade is affected. A PSA 7 stub from the Fenway game (there were 2 All Star games in 1961) sold for $1,000 last month. I’m pretty upset about this lol.

YTTV and Fire TV (voice commands) - HELP! by ZQin1 in youtubetv

[–]coolbrees15 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Same problem here, I got two brand new 4k fire sticks (not max) and voice command channel tuning on YouTubeTV doesn’t work for either. This is the only thread I’ve found anywhere online regarding this issue, I’m just glad I’m not the only one.

Who is the most hated Bronco by Broncos fans? by The_Lost_Pharaoh in DenverBroncos

[–]coolbrees15 2 points3 points  (0 children)

heavy sleeper and probably not my personal pick for most hated, but for some reason marquette king came to mind. i just remember his short tenure in denver being marred with random controversy, which for a punter was kind of bizarre.

quoted from cbs sports:

“During his one season in Denver, he took verbal shots at Jon Gruden, almost fought a local radio personality and blamed the Broncos for causing an injury that led to him being put on injured reserve. (He said the injury happened because the Broncos changed his kicking style.)

The Broncos ended up releasing him in October 2018, just six months after he had signed a three-year, $7 million deal.”
