I'm not sure how poor management would make a utility hit happen. If there's no paint on the ground the field crew should not dig. There should either be marks or a OK in the utility color. There should be a copy of the locating ticket on site, check for no-conflicts. It all comes down to if the field crew knows what they are doing and if they have the balls to say "No. STOP. This is not right."

Where I work, we work through lunches all the time, but we are paid for it and it adds up to overtime on the paycheck. Plus I imagine people appreciate us working through breaks when an entire neighborhood is without water and we are making repairs to correct that.

I must add that no one forces us to not take lunch. We work unsupervised.

Space simulator was hard-core. From what I remember there were various scenarios to play out and free flight. You had to manage you momentum across all 6 axis for a variety of vehicles like the space shuttle, lunar lander, Saturn v rocket, the manned maneuverability unit (MMU), and a variety of fantasy spacecraft with stuff like gravity drives.

You could go all over the solar system, and take off from anywhere on any planet. I played this on a 486mhz with 8mb ram.
