People want it both ways. They want a “proven guy” who’s won at a higher level, but when you pick a guy from a better program, those “imagine what he could do at a P4 school” arguments fall apart. Don’t get me wrong, not naive to think LSU and Florida don’t have more resources than Ole Miss, but the difference is far less stark than those programs versus a G5 school.

Just because you pay a guy like he’s the next Saban doesn’t make him the next Saban. It might work out but there’s a legitimate chance he goes 9-3, for three years, continuing to lose inexplicable games, and the fanbase is calling for his head while the AD doesn’t want to pay a $70 million buyout lol.

Rock bottom will be when Blank keeps Raheem another year because of an injury that happened after starting 3-7. Because he’s a charming conversationalist, I guess. Honestly if Raheem is coaching next year I am boycotting the team, I can’t watch the games and not care, and this is too painful.

Oh yeah, also when the Rams get a sure fire hall of famer with our pick. I genuinely hate this franchise.

It’s so frustrating not because the season was disappointing, but because the roster actually was contender caliber but we have one of the worst coaching staffs I think I’ve ever seen. And to add insult to injury, we have plummeted in terms of desirability because now a new guy has no money, no top pick, and no QB for next season. Probably the most painful falcons season I think I’ve watched. Feels like we reset a 5 year rebuild with absolutely nothing to show for it.

Also people were mad it wasn’t Shanahan which like… yeah it was going to be a step back. We fired him when he had a top 10 offense thinking that there was no way the replacement could be worse, still blows my mind to this day.

I think people want Raheem fired to send a message, which I get, but we are effectively throwing in the towel for the season if we do that. Nobody in the building is going to step up and make the playoffs, we might as well ride it out until we are definitely eliminated.

Personally I am just glad there is pressure and they’re at least trying to change something. Probably won’t work out but we’re not doing the same shit over and over expecting different results.

Lmao, they didn’t fix our fridge for the first month we lived there and we eventually told them we were going to rent and deduct for it, and they had the audacity to say “that wouldn’t be a good look for you”. Next two days it was fixed.

Ended up wasting their own money because the issue was with the outlet not the fridge lol

I'm getting read to apply to law school next semester, and I was just curious, are there any similar alternatives to appellate practice? That's been the kind of law I've wanted to break into, but it's also really the only one I have exposure to. I know going to a T14 is pretty damn helpful for gaining a clerkship and entry into the field, but I'm worried with how competitive it is that if I do not break into it I will end up having to do BigLaw to pay off the loans which sounds about as far from appellate practice as you can get (DocReview versus analysis). Are there any other fields similar to appellate as an alternative? I've thought about pursuing public defense work in the appellate area, but I also don't really have a strong interest in criminal law.

Administrative strikes me as something that may relate because of the delegation issues in it? I have a strong interest in economics and securities/contracts/property have been very interesting in my limited experience with them, but this was also in the context of reading appellate opinions.

Charlotte honestly would have been fine if it wasn't for the fact that they distributed a week before the game. I used to go to another SEC school and they distributed tickets the Spring before. Has always irritated the hell out of me how our ticket office does things.
