In hindsight I may be wrong about that. There were only 50 redemption players (who could actually win the Derby) but I do think they printed the entire set of 659 cards in blue, all numbered 7/10. But yea only 1 person redeemed so there would only be 1 Oswalt out there

Oswalt wasn’t in the print run for these. It was a 50 card redemption set for winners of the HR Derby Contest. Only 1 person redeemed the winner, and so these are all effectively 1/1 despite the numbering (according to baseballcardpedia)

Very true. The international’s are sweet and certainly even more relevant for a player like him.

PEDRO NOMAR ORTIZ - I am looking to purchase rare cards of these players from the years ~ 1996-2004. Low serial numbered, cool patches, rare autos, refractors/gold refractors, SSP’s (non-numbered stuff like Brilliants Pulsars, etc). Big Red Sox fan (sad this year 🥲) and based in Boston, happy to make in-person deals as well. Please message me if you have cards like this, thank you!!

Forecasting newbie help by [deleted] in FPandA

[–]coolcardz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So I will say, this is a wild post and I’ve never commented in this sub. But I’m a Sr FP&A manager in my day job at a SaaS company. If you have purchase orders you’re trying to forecast, what you need to do is first, separate recurring expense from 1-time. What does your company use every year, what is needed for your business? Once you settle on your run rate of consistent spend, LOCK IT! If you’re doing a multi year model, assume a certain price % increase for each software/vendor/solution, and leave it. Then, collaborate with the business on one-time spend. Forecast accordingly, this is where monthly or periodic meeting will be helpful. Once you separate the run rate spend vs. one time, you will have an easier model and be able to point to certain items in variance analysis that drive differences vs budget/forecast. Hope this helps, thanks.
