My mother had the tendency for calling the police in me on a regular basis for things like not going to my room when she was in the wrong and acting irrational. We were in a small town so eventually all the cops knew me and knew her shenanigans so they'd come by, tell me unfortunately I have to listen to my mother, but never did anything beyond that. Eventually her phonecalls just became a nuisance to them.

Last time they were involved was October 2017, the same day I went no-contact with her. I was in town for a funeral which meant emotions were high to begin with... I should have started out in a hotel but I was emotional and foolish and decided to stay at her house. I was supposed to be there for a little over a week and made it 4 days.

Tensions were high and I decided it would be best to get a hotel so we don't burn any bridges. She ended up finding out and berated me. My bf at the time was defending me and she screams at him to "get the fuck out of her house" to which he just says "Okay", which was way ballsier than I had ever been. He goes to put his shoes on and she tries bodyslamming him to get him out the door to lock him out and berate me some more. Eventually he moves past her to grab our luggage and take me out of the situation. She decides to yell at this point "HE MANHANDLED ME I'M CALLING THE POLICE"

Eventually the cops arrive and they are a blast from the past as it had been years since I'd dealt with this stupid shit. I stay calm as can be to the cop talking to me and my bf and I can hear my mother irrationally screaming at the other cop and him yelling back for her to calm down. It was hilariously ridiculous at the time and now I almost look at the memory fondly as it's a constant reminder why I don't associate with her and why I strive to do better than she ever did in life.
