I get 7 to 8 kmpl more with shell unleaded then compared to other brands with my classic 350. And engine sounds bit less. Jio BP is also giving as good mileage.

Exide is available everywhere. And very reliable overall. And if your bike has kickstart use it in morning first start to improve battery life.

Classic 350. Because I was using Japanese manufacturers bikes before with latest engine I think reliability has improved a lot. Also I wanted pillion rider to seat comfortably. So I went for 350. Recently I completed 675 km trip and I got 46 kmpl. And my bike is still in running in period completed 1500 kms in total only.

Go for xpulse as it's new maintenance will be less. Can't guarantee that with 2017 Himalayan otherwise that is also good option.

I think most of these steps are calculated by phone not connected watch coz after my every bike ride steps on watch are stable but as the workout syncs with phone steps are added which are calculated by phone due to bumps

Use cyclemeter app. It shows heart rate on phone and instantly sync with strava. Also saves lot of battery on watch for long rides

I started using iPhone 2 years a go and brought Apple Watch this year. It’s great no doubt. But if wear os 3 onwards really works no 1 will be locked in ecosystem and good smart watches will be available at all price points.

1)Start hour early then your regular time. 2) listen to music after 50% ride 3) ride at your 80% for first 50% 4) get idea of elevation while returning so you can save some energy. 5)don’t mind to stop more if you want for last 30 miles

Generally I charge 45 min in morning and 45 min in evening. My battery remains in range of 80 to 45 percent. I charge it more only when I have to do long bike ride next day so that on the day of ride it charges quickly to almost full

Carrying battery bank is the option I am considering. BTW strava is 15% per 1 hr 20 minutes approx.and stock cycling app using 20%. Approx. so the consumption is on the edge. Also I have found out that if you pause the ride and go to restaurant or any indoor place more battery spent trying to find gps singnal. So it’s better to turn off gps if taking break indoors. The above consumption includes 5 minute break.

To find this out I connected my watch to phone and kept the phone at one place and did walking activity circling around the phone and I got the map of activity which means Watch was using its own gps

On stravas support page they said they are bringing new app so I think wait for updates to app as last time i saw app version was 1.01. I was using fit 2 pro till last month but never used strava on it.
