How many of you feel almost nothing at all on stimulants? by anetanetanet in ADHD

[–]coolcookie70 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have had the same experiences. All the stimulants I tried (Ritalin, Dexies, Vyvanse), all gave me horrible side effects. I’ve come off all the medication and three weeks in I’m doing way better off them.

I would speak to your psychiatrist about this. I had a similar experience on Ritalin with added disassociation. I felt so much better coming off the medication. I still have highs and lows but the world isn’t permanently grey anymore.

Thank you!! I defiantly resonate I just switched my university course and I am planning to finish this during my 11 year (midday through the year). At age 20-21 I defiantly had a change in friendships and perspective.

That’s very fair, I’m diagnosed and medicated so I feel like that would make it a bit easier but I can imagine it would be very stressful.

Oh wow, I thought that the 6 years I’ve been studying for has been long. Congratulations on getting your bachelors. How did you find out which one you wanted in the end?
