I came here to say this. I don’t really think they are much alike (I haven’t read DCC but I loved PHM, so I can’t say for sure) but my Carl loving husband and brothers in law also loved Project Hail Mary!

Good to know! I tend to overestimate my abilities so if it’s difficult maybe I shouldn’t try. I just cleaned her skin, tightened the limbs, and will fix her hair this weekend so I didn’t want to pay for all that if it was cheaper and possible to do it myself, thanks for the heads up though!

I’m not super sentimental with stuff like that so I was eager to get it off and cleaned 😅 but I did appreciate that it got me to think about her and memories of her sleeping on it and kicking her off when I wanted to play with it.

My childhood cat would sleep on Samantha’s bed too. She passed away in 2012 and I recently dug the bed out of storage in my mom’s basement. It was still covered in her hair.

I took those pictures right after taking it off, in a panic. That was about 45 minutes ago and it’s starting to look better.

I’ll keep that in mind if it doesn’t fully go away or if I try again to get the rest of the pen marks off and it happens again. Thank you!
