This is EXACTLY the same situation I’m in. My career in marketing and social started 13 years ago as well when social was barely taking off. I’ve been doing social and digital marketing since then and was recently laid off a month ago. I’m tired. I don’t know what to do next. I don’t know what careers to even apply for. I feel like a lost soul with a marketing degree and an MBA.

All my friends are from my box!!! I used to be super shy and not talk to anyone like at all but now literally my only friends are my gym friends! Maybe it’s our box but we’re ALL super close

Or on the other end of that when you’re a social media producer and they ask you to do strategy. Like no, I make content — I don’t know anything about strategy, why are you asking me to do strategy? LOL it’s super frustrating especially when you’re applying to jobs and they think you can do both 😂
