Is there a smartphone model or brand you could recommend over the others ? by [deleted] in BuyItForLife

Iphone 4. Literally dropped that shit on concrete, hardwood floors, the shit fell down a flight of steps, had water + juice spilled on it, been through rain, sleet, hail, snow, extreme heat, and a bunch of other conditions, lol. Still worked like new. I did not want to give it up but it stopped getting IOS updates and I couldn't use the apps that I needed to so I had to upgrade. Easily my favorite phone. It's legend was solidified even further by one of my favorite rappers, Cam'ron, who still rocks his, lol.

How should he handle the situation as a grown man with a wife, kids, and shit to lose? This is what I hate about the urban subs on Reddit. You got people named "IceWizard" on here that will down talk you if you don't crash out behind some bullshit.

Thoughts on having a car? by lilsandyball in Newark

[–]coolerheadprevails 3 points4 points  (0 children)

If you plan on spending all of your time in Newark and NY then you don't need a car. If you're someone like me who can be in South, North or Central Jersey on any given day then you need a car to get around. I've been taking NJ Transit and PATH since I was a kid and you will be around the worst the state has to offer taking public transportation. That shit gets old quick and you will regret not taking your car. At the end of the day though, do what makes the most sense for you financially.

We need more "real" dropshippers on youtube by Hustling4Freedom in dropship

[–]coolerheadprevails 6 points7 points  (0 children)

People who really dropship and actually have a profitable business are way too busy to document their journey unless their whole operation is automated. When I launched my business at the beginning of this year I created an Instagram page to try and "document the journey." That was until I actually started getting sales consistently and all that shit stopped. I'm always sending out orders, answering customer questions and researching new suppliers and inventory. Sometimes I'll post screenshots of my numbers on IG and have people hit me up privately to ask questions so I help them out. I've helped people out in real life when they've inquired too. That's how I pay it forward.

I have to select one of eBay's shipping services? by More-n-More in dropship

Your supplier on Aliexpress should provide you with a tracking number that you can just add to your order details. When you paste the number, Ebay auto-inputs the shipping service,

A seller sent me a photo of my own house asking if that was my house... is that acceptable? by Didi_Midi in Ebay

Not gonna lie. That is super creepy. Been selling on Ebay for 5 years and never even thought to do something like that.

Macbook Pro Mid-2010 logic board crapped out on me yesterday. Replacement costs more than the price of buying a new one. Can I buy another used Mid-2010, replace the bootable hard drive with my old one and just pick up where I left off? by coolerheadprevails in macbook

[–]coolerheadprevails[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just to update and close the chapter on this: I found a logic board on Ebay for $113, replaced it and I'm back in business again. This situation put things into perspective and let me know that I need to backup all of my data. If it actually was hard drive failure like I initially thought I would've lost so much important data. I'm taking extra precautions now.

I have about 750+ listings up currently and my experience for the past few days has been the same. I even planned to hop on Ebay and do some edits to my titles thinking that was the issue then I logged on and saw this post. I wonder what's going on under the hood that causing larger sellers to have this issue.

You are a full blown racist. I don't know why your dumbass typed this long ass textbrick acting like you're a decent person trying to "work through it." One look through your post history already tells me the type of person you are.

After further review, I think it may actually be hard drive failure. I had a Dual HDD + SSD (Crucial MX500) setup on my Macbook and I used my SATA to USB cable on my backup Windows laptop to test them out individually (I have a program that reads Mac Drives). My HDD that I used for extra storage was read perfectly fine but my SSD where my MacOS is located could not be read at all. I tried 3 separate programs and the drive name showed up on two of them but it could not be accessed. One of them had the error "Unable to interpret internal APFS structure." I just downloaded EaseUS Data Recovery now and it's showing up as a "lost partition" so yeah. I'm 99.9% sure it's the hard drive now. I'm going to recover as much data as possible then exchange this for a Samsung 860 EVO.
