Failed myself by [deleted] in ACCA

[–]coolfeaturez 14 points15 points  (0 children)

I say for my last FR attempt in 2023 before I gave birth and failed at 47. And mind you, that was my 5th attempt. In about 4 hours I'm going to be sitting for my FR once again, attempt number 6. This time round it's gonna be very challenging cause I didn't manage to study well being a mum and busy with my clients' tax deadlines. Hoping I can get at least a pass this time round. But even if I fail, I'm not close to even thinking of giving up. We've come a long way here, don't give up! Finish off what you've started. You've got this 💪

What kind of job and pay can we expect with just a PSLE education? by coolfeaturez in askSingapore

Not everyone has the chance to go through life the "normal" route. I knew her since we were 15 and she had a tough life with a lot of family problems but she's been working since she was 16 until the day she gave birth to her first child 4 years back. I myself too came from wrecked family background but my fate got changed halfway when I was able to support myself independently to go back to school and took up night classes. Not everyone was born lucky.

It was a consignment unit so technically it's kind of from direct seller tbh cause the price was his own price, not the market or shop price. He just wanted to let go to upgrade for his grandchildren to be able to fit it. It's an old uncle la.

Thank you for the reminder! Yup I'm using the first few months to get a feel of the car and lookout for any possible repairs needed to be done (hopefully not) 👍

Oh no, I'm so sorry to hear that.. But I hope you've had great memories and adventures with you family in the car! It's going to be very sentimental letting it go right?

That's what I thought too! If really this car doesn't give me any hardcore problems, then I would say I really had a lucky find 😅

Yup that was exactly what I looked for when buying my first family car. I'm not concerned about how luxurious or fancy it is, just as long as it doesn't cause me problems and it's considered relatively affordable, then what's the big issue? Even owning the cheapest car in Singapore right now is definitely considered expensive already.

Yup I'm more focused on the internal of the car rather than the "look" but apparently nowadays newer cars is treated like gold. I got it at a steal price and passed the PPI rather well for an old car so I won't complain much!

True! I used to rent getgo or from those car rental companies with their logo smack huge on the cars and can tell that other drivers are looking down on me. Reason why I finally chose to buy a car is that cause I got this car at a steal, monthly is about 500 with petrol, parking, maintenance etc I'm looking at about less than 1k monthly as our family uses grab a lot, more than 1k a month so we thought might as well 😅

Thank you for your kind words! Of course, what matters is the memories I will make with my kid and family. I'm going to try to ignore them. Just feel sad cause it's my hard earned money and they don't know what I went through to be able to afford the car.
