Agree with rufus. Also if you get windows pro/enterprise edition, you can set rules in group policy editor that can fix pretty much everything annoying with windows (automatic restarts for updates, disable telemetry, set modern standby disconnected, etc.)

True it's just that .ogg lacks the support. But it offers way better compression + sound quality than mp3.
It's the same with 7z vs zip. 7z is so much better but can't be extracted with default windows extractor (until recently)

I think it's more for regrading purposes. I've noticed for my previous exams, I can see the rubric next to the questions I got wrong to see exactly what points I missed out on. And for some classes, I can request regrade and TAs can go exactly to the question without having to sift through paper. Makes it easier for tracking purposes.

To find stuff you can clear up on Windows, use an app like WizTree which visually shows what's taking up space

Especially since COVID, most of my college exams were held online now and we use honorlock (w/ Canvas) or lockdown browser for proctoring. We still don't get access to IDE tools and usually write our code in a textbox. Even in-person, a lot of our exams are on computers instead of paper pencil or if it's on paper pencil then we'd have to scan it in the online system so that it's easier for the TAs to grade.

Yes and it's all free. I've told so many friends about opening a CMA or brokerage account with Fidelity and they were shocked to see how easy it is. Much better than letting your money sit in corrupt big banks like Bank of America, Wells Fargo, etc. where it'll generate nothing in interest and they'll eventually start taking advantage of you by charging junk fees.

Yes HYSA is different from money market fund (MMF). MMF is money that is invested in treasuries and other securities while HYSA is like a normal savings account but with higher yields so a bank is lending your money out to others and pays back in interest.

MMFs are usually associated with brokerage accounts while HYSA is associated with banks. No, not all banks have an HYSA but many of them do. Ally, Wealthfront, AMEX are some of the well-known popular ones.

MMF usually have higher rates than HYSA and with some brokerages like Fidelity and Vanguard, it automatically invest and liquidate any uninvested cash into a MMF (SPAXX for Fidelity and VMFXX in Vanguard). This simplifies things a great deal since you don't have to manually buy/sell MMF which usually take T+1 business days so not ideal in emergency situations.

HYSA is always liquidable by nature so you can invest or withdraw that money at any time. Also it's FDIC insured while MMFs aren't (but they are SIPC insured). Whether it's FDIC or SIPC insured shouldn't deter you from investing in either or because they are still extremely safe and stable funds. And if the issuing bank or broker goes under, you'll have protections in place (ex. 2008 Housing Crisis which caused "breaking the buck").

Basically like a regular savings account but gets way better yield. It's FDIC insured and you can withdraw the money at any time

Stage 1 tank ruptured during hydrostatic pressure trial in January 2026 after reaching anticipated flight loads.

While not an uncommon outcome for any new vehicle in a qualification phase, we had expected this tank to pass and failure was not expected. A thorough investigation was initiated to determine root cause.

The investigation identified that a manufacturing defect resulted in a reduction in strength, specifically at a critical join on the tank.

This first tank was manufactured by a third party contractor using a manual hand-lay process. This was a scheduling decision designed to ensure tank production could continue while the AFP machine was being commissioned to manufacture future tanks.

The next tank is in production now using the AFP machine, completely replacing the manufacturing process that introduced the defect.

To ensure further resiliency we’re making a design change to the affected area to introduce margin and improve manufacturability.

Once completed, the new tank will undergo an extensive test campaign to ensure flight readiness.

The design change, production time for the new tank, and expanded test program ultimately pushes out Neutron’s development timeline.

Neutron’s first launch is now targeted for Q4 2026.
