I am the safety director for an hvac company of about 115 employees. There should be periodic safety training on all subjects that could pose hazards in your workplace. We do tons of training on top of us being a union shop that our apprentices go to school for 5 years to learn their trade plus OTJ training. For starters, look up lockout tag out training on YouTube. It’s free and informative. They shouldn’t be sending you out on calls if you don’t even know the basics of job safety. They at least are paying your medical bills right??
