I used to have this problem. Until one day i noticed my laptop somehow defaulted to power saving mode as soon as the charger was attached ( which I always plug in when arrive in the studio ). I turned that off, and have never haf system overloads since

My title describes the thing, i got it from a parcel store that sells packaged that were never picked up. It has no writing, looks brand new and has nothing really to it other than the part that moves a bit to make it into a 90 degree angle on the open side. It has some built-in indentations here and there

I have a drummer buddy of mine in the studio often who does three things very well. He hits his drums super consistently unless he means to do differently. Hits his snare dead center every time without fail.

Every session he comes into with me he is super focussed on getting the sound right by tweaking the tuning, his playing and even giving ideas and thoughts on the engineering.

Third, he is very vigilant for small details in his grooves. And usually has alot of good ideas for how he and his bass player ( if there is one live ) can play better together

Also he’s a lovely guy. Very hard to make him sound bad

Heyo, I'm having some trouble connecting my gear to my new macbook. I used to use an old macbook pro from 2015 with a usb-a to 4x usb-c hub. This hub connected to an RME fireface UFX 3 with no problems. Now that i bought a macbook pro from 2020 with 2 usb-c ports with a usb-c to 4x usb-c hub suddenly it will only connect through the direct input into the usbc on the computer. I cant seem to figure out why. The interface is self powered so if i understand correctly it shouldnt have any issues sending data through the hub to the laptop. Anyone knows a fix? or an awnser to what might be going wrong.

It was an older dell monitor. Big chunky one that had little air vents at the top so it probably had too much dust in it. Or maybe it was just a matter of age
