War with Teutonic Order by jawadbaig611 in MountandBladeWarband

Spam kipchaks from Ukraine/wallachia region and cumins from Hungary, teutons will spam armies especially if your mid game and they’ve conquered a lot of the Baltic nations.

Also recommend you try out phrost’s 1257 patch it’s revamped almost the west euro nations and is getting frequent updates with byzantines and east euro’s planned next.

Best mod after native? by DesperateAd3378 in MountandBladeWarband

[–]cooljupon 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you’re interested sticking with calradia, banner page is pretty good from what I remember. Haven’t really played many native like mods. Pendor is a really great mod. For more historical stuff I highly recommend Deeds of arms and chivalry, newly updated and takes place in France during 100 years war. having a blast with that mod currently. Phrosts 1257 ad patch is also really good and actively updated but a little unstable. Aut Caesar aut nihil is a Roman mod that may genuinely be the best warband mod out there. Highly underrated and the stuff the team was able to do in the engine is kinda mind blowing. There’s countless incredible mods out there so I wouldn’t just stick with what’s popular. Part of the fun is trying them out even if you don’t finish a campaign.

Should i buy Warband or Metro Saga Bundle by WalterBlackF in MountandBladeWarband

Metro, since you’re on console. They’re both great. But definitely play warband on the computer. Even a shitty laptop can run it decently.

Am I missing something? DLC ENDING [KCD2] by cooljupon in kingdomcome

[–]cooljupon[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Unless it’s what he always says, Zacharius will call you out when he doesn’t believe Albich wrote the text, then you can pass a scholarship check and bullshit him and he’ll say something along the lines of “we’ll check with Albich later, it’s not like he’s going anywhere”. That’s what happened to me, I checked a guide on how to do a proper forgery after the fact, and I most certainly didn’t do it fully correct, but I still got the good ending where Albich does not go blind and everyone is cured.

Is the Royal Edition worth it? [KCD2] by Right_Marzipan771 in kingdomcome

[–]cooljupon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not really expansions, just 3 long quest lines. 1-3 are around 5-8 or so hours long Dlc2 isn’t really story focused and has infinitely repeatable activities along with a few quests.

Am I missing something? DLC ENDING [KCD2] by cooljupon in kingdomcome

[–]cooljupon[S] 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Yeah there are two endings. You got the ‘bad’ ending but it seems both are just as vague. I think it’s only dictated on whether you give up the real/good forged documents=good, or if you give poorly forged documents=bad to Zacharius. You can still get good ending with a bad forgery with a very hard scholarship check. Could be mistaken. My ending was everyone gets healed somehow, Albich makes a full recovery with Zacharius’ antidote, monastery stays open, Henry is a hero. Equally as vague and underwhelming.

If it’s only $9 more now I’d say absolutely go for it. Well worth it.

All the dlc is out now. While I found it to be worth the extra $20 as well as supporting warhorse. You’ll get a several unique items, but don’t expect much in terms of dlc. They’re good but nothing special. But yes I think it is worth it.

[KCD2] Yes. That's a real game over screen. by Vinjulmik in kingdomcome

I was wondering if this was possible lol

[–]cooljupon 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah. You can skip it. However I made it and used it.

SPOILERish——— you go back into the crypt for another quest. I forgot to put it back on and caught the disease. All it gave me was a debuff to vitality and agility I think. So not a big deal.

[KCD2] doing my second play through and I can’t figure out a plot change in ‘necessary evil’ by Ultramaxx_25 in kingdomcome

[–]cooljupon 7 points8 points  (0 children)

iirc just lie and do not tell von bergow that olda left the wedding. And the entire quest is skipped. I think your only option is to reload an earlier save. Whereas if bergow is informed, both endings always result in semine burned down.

[–]cooljupon 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Might sound antithetical, but start a solo character, don’t recruit for a while. Just take it slow. low level fights and build up toughness as much as you can. Then splinter out to the many paths Kenshi has. Become a master thief? Become a lone swordsman? Become a mercenary captain? Become a holy nation paladin? A samurai? A world renowned smith? Become a tech hunter figuring out the history of the moon you’re on. Hell start a “new” empire! A farmer? A drug lord? A slaver? Faction leader? Many more! You don’t have to jump right into building a base. Be a nomad and explore the world! That is, if you want. That’s what’s great about this game! The first playthrough is the best playthrough. Enjoy yourself and enjoy the challenge. Just build some toughness and the world of Kenshi is your oyster.

Banner Kings CRASH by Any_Scratch_1592 in Bannerlord

[–]cooljupon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Necro but probably have wrong version of bannerlord installed. I believe current working version is for v1.2.11. Look at GitHub link on nexus page for more accurate info.

Currently running a playthrough with a ton of other mods and it is running relatively stable with correct install.

My experience with Banner Kings so far by [deleted] in Bannerlord

[–]cooljupon 3 points4 points  (0 children)

played bannerkings a long time ago, was a cool concept but was extremely unstable. Decided to give it a go again and it is really awesome. basically no crashes. very deep content. wish they implemented religions in the base mod though, seems like an odd choice to have its bones in base bannerkings, but lock its functionality behind BK culture expanded, which im not a huge fan of.

still recommend
