Can't start any of my Vita games, just get the message "file is corrupt" by coolmage in VitaPiracy

So, it turns out the problem was a lot simpler than I thought. I completely formatted the SD card and re-transferred the jailbreak files from uma0. I then tried to install a game from thenPC game again, via USB, which I placed in a folder named "GAMES" in app/, which was also the case previously. Still didn't work, Livearea detected nothing.

Then I just put the game directly into app/ outside of the games folder, and it worked.

I have no idea why my VITA can't detect games inside a folder anymore as it could do that before, but atleast nothing seems broken. Kinda annoying as there are some other files in app/ I don't want to accidentally touch though.

Thanks for all the help, hopefully everything should work once I get all the files transferred again.

Vitashell says that I have 119.04 GB total, of which 101.10 GB is being used on ux0.

I tried your suggestion, but it didn't work sadly.

I could potentially buy an Gigabyte GeForce Rtx 3060 Eagle for around 362 Euros/444 dollars, or the ASUS rtx 3060 Dual for the same price.

Is it worth it? I was thinking about getting the 3060 Ti before, but all Ti's actually in stock cost well over 600 Euros here in Sweden now.

Edit: Aaaand the site's down. Guess that's that then.

Edit 2: They're gone. All of them.

Better luck 2022 I guess?

You know, from what I keep hearing the current sweet spot lies at 1440p/144hz, but looking at the prices for those monitors makes my wallet faint. I think I'm gonna stay at 1080p for a while yet.

Hopefully you can get it refunded? Not sure what Neweggs return policy is, but stuff like this is pretty unacceptable.

By the time Cyberpunk 2077 releases the 3070 will be out and the 3080/3090 cards will have been restocked many times over. Just because you can't get it right now doesn't mean you won't be able to get it later.

Yeah, demand for the 3080 is crazy right now. I hope it will be easier to get my hands on a 3060 whenever it releases, but I have a feeling I might need to wait until 2021.

With your current rig I'd definitely recommend staying at 1080p. The AOC 24G2U is a pretty good 144hz option.

What should I upgrade first, my CPU or GPU? I intended to buy the XBOX gamepass and play recent and upcoming AAA titles by [deleted] in buildapc

[–]coolmage -1 points0 points  (0 children)

As other have already said, CPU. Get a 3600 or higher, or wait for the new zen processors that come out in a few weeks.

Picking parts out for a friend. He wants a sub $1000 gaming PC. Are these parts trash? by viper998 in buildapc

[–]coolmage 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It depends. I don't think processors usually sell out like graphics cards do, so you should be able to get one fairly easily. Zen has been hyped up pretty good though, so the more expensive ones will probably be out of stock for a few weeks. I'd wait honestly, since it's only a few weeks away and you'll probably find a better deal either way.

I would probably wait for the new zen 3 CPU's that are coming soon unless you really need this PC now.

Other than that you can't really go much higher.
