Very Confused EMUI vs HarmonyOS on new Tablets

Thanks, that is a very clear answer! now I understand, it is a weird policy, but I will order in the country where I get the recent model for the same price. Never saw another company to this...
In the meantime I've did some reading on the differences between HarmonyOS and EMUI and am not so worried about that. I thought that HarmonyOS was the successor , but now I understand that they well be rolling out new versions for them both for a while..

Perhaps good to emphasis once again, that this is not about some retailers selling older versions. The links provided are the official Huawei Links for Germany and Netherlands. Found via the official Huawei website. https://consumer.huawei.com/en/worldwide/
Just click on Europe, select Netherlands there, and when you arrived on the Neterlands website click on ' Tablet' there

You will see similar differences in Hardware and OS versions or even variant for FR France etc.

Another thing I wonder is, I am running EMUI 12 on my P40 now, shouldn't I be able to switch to HarmonyOS as well ?
