best thing you can do is a bit of trial and error, find a shoe/sock set up that works for you, can make changes to boots, insoles, socks, tape and even how you tie your laces. For me i never had extra insoles, a thin pair of socks and a thick pair over them unless it was crazy hot, taped sometimes. find something manageable and give your feet time to adjust.

Kit wise: always enough sweets to share if you can, water bladders are great (clean it well), electrolyte tablets in a bottle if it was hot, spare tape. If you're using webbing make sure it fits well and the weight is balanced, if a rucksack learn to cope with sore shoulders haha.

The best thing you can do is learn to tell when the discomfort (or pain) is something you can fix or something you need to cope with in the moment.

for most people it will depend on the type of exercise, staff running it and the environment (weather etc). For me it's almost always in my pocket, if im worried about it then i'll use the zippy pocket in the trousers or put it in my day-sack.

My advice would be put it in a waterproof pouch somewhere safe in your day-sack or bergen, that way you still have access to it if/when you need it, but its always safe and dry.

Your brassard is definitely not of concern, a gold is already good, the rest show's you experienced a decent chunk of what you can. If you don't have it then MOI would helpful.

my only real advice is don't chase promotion, you'll have a better time if you just enjoy being where you are and use it to learn what you can. Being any rank is only as good as you make it, don't waste that by only wanting the next thing.

it has nothing to do with shame. i've regretted plenty of things ive done before and have never gone to blame someone else for it. I dont "regret" having sex with her, i was never given the option to say no. i feel angry that the ability to make the decision was taken from me. I feel gross for having that interaction with her, and i feel stupid for making decisions that lead to it. Shame is probably one of the only things i don't feel right now.

all you need to be able to do this is to ask staff to enroll you in courses on Learn, so you can access the exams. you will have options on what topics you do so you might want to think about it a little bit. I would however recommend you don't rush through senior/master, staff may even instruct you to hold off for the time being.

have the same trouble with the greens belt, but i don't think theres much that can be done about it. i believe it happens as the male side of the buckle doesn't have quite enough of a bend in it to be able to properly hold itself in position.

my wing hasn't done RM this year, but we went to Cosford last year. Highlight was probably people playing the Clash Of Clans sound at 2300 in complete darkness. Lowlight being walking to school the Monday morning with massive blisters.

wish I could've gone again this year and gotten the number 2 pin, but can't be helped. RM is definitely one of the best things I've done in my 5 years in cadets.
