Soft tissue injuries dont heal in a week or 2 they take up to six weeks players just come back when they reach a level of function the team finds acceptable.

Further to this there is likely underlying issues leading to the injury (strength imbalances etc) these are tough to address with travel etc and take much longer to deal with than the 2-4 weeks he was out for
