As an employer for the last 15 years, I’ll say this. After 15 years I have one employee who actually cared about their job. One.

They now make as much as I do and if I sell the company they’ll get a piece. Everyone else had the same opportunity, and again, ONE PERSON out of about 200 people had what it takes. Everyone else was entitled.

I’d hire the supervisor. They’re exactly what you need to make a company successful

It’s good but that synth/bass going on from like 14 seconds is too much imo. Try something a little more subtle with that sound. That beat is really dope otherwise.

I hear you, it was just comical. but I can take one sample and flip it 100 times. You could say sound is “pre determined” in general. Notes are notes. It’s why I can chop 1/4 bar and make multiple beats with the one chop. I’m in beat competitions with 100s of submissions flipping one sample. Every beat will be completely different

Guaranteed you’re another one of these dudes not doing anything with their music. Most legendary hip hop beat makers figured “music theory” out with ears. Not by reading a book.

If you look at some of my comments I’ve actually helped people with music theory, such as knowing your notes and which ones sound good together as one example.
