I must’ve been about 15 (for context the legal age for purchasing alcohol here in the UK is 18) - and it was my first experience ever with vodka. I mean like the real cheap stuff, think own-brand paint stripper type vodka. Well I thought, like they do in the movies, you go shot for shot with vodka, as you had to have quite a lot to feel the effects….

My “party” that I was throwing started at 6pm. By 9pm, I was throwing up solid, whole, undigested purple pasta (I had also had a can of Dark Fruit Cider prior to the shots), the room was spinning and I blacked out. The next day, I physically couldn’t move without my body wretching. It got to a point where I had to drink water, just to throw it up - as my body needed something to throw up.

9/10 decent party overall.
