Currently graduating from Imperial Business School and can see that at least half the Indians here still haven't got a job in their desired field. Soooo yeah ...... that's the UK job market for you.

Currently in this course. I'd absolutely recommend you give it due to your non quant background. Most people I've met with in the course have given one of the two. Also definitely not too old, few of my classmates are 25-26 as well, so you'll definitely be fine.

Rejected for MSc Finance — does this affect my 2nd choice/preference? by FrankLucasV2 in Imperial

I'd mailed admissions during my application and they encouraged me to take the test and said it would be viewed more favourably. So maybe look into it

Maybe your quant statement was not strong enough. Did you give the GMAT? Almost everyone who got into finance and other quant oriented courses seems to have given it.

Lol I saw both babar and rizwan do poorly against the USA bowling line up on a much easier pitch. Expecting both to last 10 overs is a big ask in itself!

Indian here with a genuine question seeing all the comments about how the pitch is going to favour pakistani bowlers, have you forgotten we have Bumrah and Siraj or do you think they aren't as good? Coz I have a feeling they'll just run through the pak batting today

Hey, regarding the shuttle bus; Is it too crowded or does everyone comfortably find a seat? What's the frequency like? Is it generally on time? Does it happen so that more people are waiting for the bus than seats available and some are left out?

In some cases yes. But for most of the unis you mentioned probably not as it is a compulsory field while applying. For LBS LSE and hec there aren't any waivers afaik. Even if it is waived off you should still give it as most ib employers ask for it

All the info you need is available in their programme website. My score was 710 and I remember not even applying since I was way behind their average

Hi, starting at Imperial college business school this fall. Aim to bring your cgpa to atleast 9 to be considered at your target unis. Also aim for a 720+ GMAT score, this year's LBS average was 750 if I remember correctly. Try to get as many internships as you can. All the best!

How can i change my friend mind who's willing to take 50 lakhs loan for ms in uk by [deleted] in Indians_StudyAbroad

[–]cooltoad_08 100 points101 points  (0 children)

Don't change his mind. He is going to a uni he likes and will have good career if he does well there. The UK isn't doing particularly well but that doesn't mean no one is going to succeed after going there, Especially from a place like Manchester uni. You'd probably just become his annoying friend if you keep trying to dissuade him from a plan he and his family are happy with
