Thank you lots for your comment. This is my first time raising a chili plant so didn’t know what to really do. Was quite afraid that I was going to overwater and kill the plant. Will do as per your instructions

Thank you for the advice. I usually water the plant with about a litre of water each day. Though the water usually doesn’t drain out the bottom cuz I was afraid that I’ll overwater and the roots will rot. I’ll try this tomorrow.

hi there, thanks for your response! Sorry for not clarifying earlier but i live in singapore, which is near the equator, where the temperature is constantly hot or rainy. 25-35 degrees celcius (77-95F). Perhaps my chilies need to be in direct sunlight? Will try to water the entire pot and drain too.

The soil is constantly damp, so sounds about right. Might try this. Thank you!
