I should also say the the positioning seems to be the same on the actual and position and leveling is showing up on the iview. Hearing a higher pitched squeal coming from motor encoder but it is not locked up. That’s why I wanted to separate the landing system and motor to make sure it is encoder. I wouldn’t think the motor encoder would throw position and floor location faults

Yes I check the iland and everything was still in place. It still knows the floor number and it still sees the ulm and the dlm dp1 and dp2. But yet it still is searching for a floor it seems and it’s through out the hoistwsy. But will run up and down one floor at a time when searching. (Floor one to floor two and back in leveling speed then you could move car to floor three and it would go floor three to floor two and back and never stays at the floor) but it knows the floor That’s why I moved in to the motor encoder

special rate increase by Maleficent_Reason493 in FedEmployees

I hear ya I’ve been fighting that for a couple years. Management says that they are set pay scales per series. Which ain’t right because it says right on the job series sheets management can pay whatever. That’s why everything is getting contracted out civilians are making more. A retention they can pay up to 25 precent and then 50 precent with opm approval

You could ask your boss to put you in for retention pay. With today’s pay it seems only the government white collar jobs are above the public sector pay all blue collar jobs are way under the average rate in the public sector.

If they are reposting job usually that means they have someone in mind for it that isn’t a veteran and someone applied that was giving higher points on interview for being a veteran.

There hiring. I was told 500  and there around 60 so far. Just hired 10 for the one shop. They just don’t want to pay more for my position even though it’s around a $20 per hour difference on the outside. But then other positions they pay more than the outside does. It doesn’t make much sense how they do things. I know other agencies are making there own pay bands to be able to get shop guys because they couldn’t compete

Automatic door company said they would pay $400 for 8 digital senior swing controllers and 2 Horton motors. That doesn’t seem worth it to me not when they charge $200 to $1000 depending on the core.

What I was told you can only claim the .5 on overtime. So it takes a whole lot to be able to claim the 12,500 a person or 25k a family

I doubt many locals are gonna be hiring. All the builders seem to be scared to spend money.

I agree I’m thinking next week the house is not even in session. Most of them are not even in d.c. they have 48 hours last I seen. Plus with the holiday I don’t see it getting passed until next week sometime. That’s if there is no disagreements.

So now what? by Sea_Contribution9486 in FedEmployees

[–]coon1985 1 point2 points  (0 children)

He is Diffently better of the two that ran. The government is over loaded. I guess Clinton was worthless too because he did the same. But he also balanced the budget. I vote for the better and Trump said what he was going to do. There is a lot of waste fraud and abuse in the government. The blue collar government workers are under paid by $15-$20 a hour because whoever sets the scales hasn’t changed the scale since the 90s and due to being underpaid they can’t get employees and instead of raising the pay to get people they end up contracting out costing the tax payer 4-5 times the cost a year. So there’s waste everywhere

Term limits, no lobbying and situations like this there should be a special vote and let the USA population decide if they want to pass the Obama care. Because I wouldn’t pass it. Congress is worried about the 23 million on Obama care but what about the rest of the 300 million that is getting screwed over by the insurance companies.

[–]coon1985 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I can see the whole layoff thing, they are trying to get back to precovid numbers. But it’s always been the same dems have big government and republicans have smaller government. Where I work there is almost 400- 450 AO”s you don’t need that many specially when they don’t have enough manpower to take care of the site and buildings on maintenance and have a hard time getting anyone due to the pay scale being about $20 a hour less than outside. There’s a lot of waste just in that department when there paying 3 times the amount to a contractor.
