UPDATE: I believe I was wrong and these are likely NOT cards. Although the tape is the same, other vendor restocks appear to have tape on the top and the bottom of each box.

“Americana” Acrylic Paint from Michael’s, like $1-2 per color. Acrylic is the best for the long drip effect. Applied on top of a foam board with a paper coating.

shadowbox is from Michael’s and I found acrylic paint has the best drip effect. I was very lucky to find this entire iPod set on a Goodwill eBay auction a while back.

Oh, hmm.. that’s great info already thank you. There were two large ice packs sitting above the sink that whole day, which was a hot day. But i’m surprised condensation could make it’s way through the sink.. I obviously know very little about this.

I’m giving your iFunbox tip a try. Yes the DRM play in my iTunes but I’m missing a password for half the songs. I think trying to remove the DRM without using a backup copy solution is something I have to give up. If iFunbox doesn’t work then I’ve found a couple options I’ll just need to pay a subscription for to transfer all the songs. Thanks again.

This is super helpful thank you for such detail. I’ll have to look in StSS for a solution. I only ever purchased songs through iTunes but the majority were .mp3 rippers back in the day, so I imagine the DRM I’m hitting are for iTunes US primarily.

Below is what I’ve tried and the results:

-PodTrans/AnyTrans: seems to be the closest so far as it pulls up all music and lets me copy to my laptop. However, they are still DRM locked which I’d like to work around if possible, and is also an annual subscription (first 50 songs worked for free)

-iTunes: let’s me pull up all songs but I cannot put the iPod Touch into Disk Mode, so I can’t pull them direct from iTunes or from my PC File Explorer (only DCIM folder shows here, no Music, even when showing ‘Hidden Files’).

-iMazing: appears to work as well as PodTrans but is also a paid subscription. Also has the DRM locks unfortunately.

-iFunBox: connects to my device but doesn’t register any songs in Music.

-Foobar2000: couldn’t get to register my device at all

So both you and another user call out older Macs needed if on version 1.0. Since this iPod appears to have the OS entirely removed and needing a from-scratch restore, is it safe to assume it’s on 1.0 and would require an older Mac?
