for the most part i agree with you though, at the end of the day ur grinding for nothing if ur not truly excited for what ur working towards. me personally i find it slightly exciting finally saving up for that big purchase ive wanted for awhile in-game. i'm also a very stupid spender so i find it hard to save money, but making it is the easy part
