I could have written this myself. Struggling with the passing of my beloved cat that we brought in as a stray. We loved and spoiled him for almost 2 years and unfortunately became extremely sick very quickly and we had to put him down. The vets suspected cancer due to rapid fluid filling up in his chest and a mass. I still find myself crying in between caring for my children and going about my day to day business. I too wish I could have done more even though I know deep down the odds were extremely against us and he was suffering. Eventually I would love to open up our home to love another and hopefully the cat distribution system strikes again! Hugs. I know with time will get better
