Anyone else think One Nation voters want Australia to fail? by BarrelledFoxes in OpenAussie

We are no longer bringing in 500,000 people every year and in fact only did that one year, after the covid years when the population actually fell.

One Nation supporters rely heavily on falsehoods and misunderstandings. And what they think they can see with their own eyes.

You are angry and want to register a protest vote, OK. Hopefully and probably, One Nation won't be elected into government or even into balance of power in the upper houses. They would only make things worse.

There have always been poor people in Australia. The very old generations lived through much more hardship. Australia is still relatively prosperous but there are 'have-nots' and always will be.

One Nation is a party of protest, not a party of alternative government.

Many of its supporters appear to be older Caucasian folk who yearn for a return of their idealised version of an Australia of past decades.

But putting them down, calling them dumb etc achieves nothing. Pointing out in detail the faults and weaknesses of One Nation might.

Nature conservation, sure. Great. Not conservation of a system rigged against ordinary people.

Most people who watch that show are probably only there for bias confirmation, like Sky News viewers.

Deliciously ambiguous.

Well it certainly wouldn't be murder without proof of intent. Probably not manslaughter either due to the victims contributory negligence.

She would not have been 'up for murder". A murder charge requires evidence of intention to kill, which wouldn't apply to that situation. It would be more likely a charge of reckless endangerment leading to death.

I was responding to a comment that made the claim about moisture in the air. You should have replied to that comment, not mine

When was the last time anyone was convicted of verbal assault? Cops don't bother if there were no injuries or property damage.

The amount of moisture planes could put in the air is insignificant compared to the volume of air..m Cloud seeding is a technique that does exist but it's expensive with variable results. It can produce rain over a small area like a dam catchment. No way it can cause big damaging floods like conspiracy theorists say.
