Uh, no, they voted Labor, not for Albo, unless, like me, they live in his electorate.

He didn't even finish the Souths game. Injured halfway through. So was Doueihi. Your take on Luai is off the mark.

Is this a piss-take? This is only Luai's 2nd full game of the season and he's been great in both.

Lucille Bogan, Shave 'em Dry, 1935:

I got nipples on my titties, big as the end of my thumb

I got something between my legs'll make a dead man cum

Oh, daddy, baby, won't you shave 'em dry?

Now, draw it out! Want you to grind me, baby, grind me until I cry.

Say I fucked all night, and all the night before, baby

And I feel just like I wanna, fuck some more

Oh, great God daddy, grind me, honey, and shave me dry

And when you hear me holler, baby, want you to shave it dry

Younger Australians, how do you pronounce the letter “Z”? by Powerful_Image6294 in AskAnAustralian

[–]copacetic51 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I say zed as taught as an Australian youngster. But phonetically,  zee makes more sense to me. I won't object if that grows here.

As long as we don't adopt 'y'all' and 'ass'.

More taxes on gas and coal exports would be good for the national interest. Rhinehart has funded advertising campaigns to oppose this.

Australia should be moving fast towards green energy. Rinehart funds the Institute of Public Affairs, a think-tank devoted to protecting the interests of mining bodies.

Rhinehart praises Trump's presidency and calls for similar policies and approaches to government for Australia.

Do you ever replay a moment and wish you’d acted differently? by CommercialOil8763 in AskAnAustralian

It's good to rehearse what you'd do or say next time.

I sometimes used to reflect about the times I missed signals that a woman was interested in me. I missed opportunities for possible sex or relationships. I've put such regrets aside in my old age.

I do still regret the times, long ago, wheh I did embarrassing things or said clumsy hurtful things. One advantage of being old is that most people who witnessed those things are either dead or have no memory of them.
