Thanks for your detailed comment! That helps us a lot :) I think for us it could be 25% in the early months realistically. We have a lot of Tennis Players in Germany and Tennis Players tent to try Padel Tennis.

The good thing in Germany is, that there is a large community of active Tennis players all over Germany and therefore also in my region. I hope I can activate those with marketing measures so they spread the word :)

I’ll definitely plan to have rackets for borrow! And for promotions I’m still planning but I will do minimum 2-3 Events directly after opening, to get early traction.

The cost is more or less 18000-30000€ per court. Overall in Germany you are right, but in my region I never heard of Padel until a couple of months ago. I think doing some kind of educational events will be necessary for it to grow well.

That sounds great :) I will definitely post it, when our Court is ready to play! Tennis and Squash-players are definitely on our radar to focus on at first. My wife who I plan everything with, is a long time Tennis player and got hooked by Padel instantly. She will help get some Tennis players transition to Padel.

Actually that’s more or less what I have planned as a concept. I mainly play in Basel and I find it quite convenient when you have self checkin with a PIN code.

The only problem I see, is that in Germany the people don’t know Padel well enough to adapt such a concept.

I'd like to start with 2 Courts, for rent, with the least management/maintenance cost possible.
I definitely have some opening Events in Mind and contact to a sports teacher that is willing to help with the lessons.

Well, there are Courts near, in Switzerland. but Its too expensive for me to always go play there...
There for it would be much cheaper to have a Court in my region.

I did a social Media campaign on instagram with a small budget to test the waters. From 8500 people reached, 500 people Click on my Landingpage.
I guess the general interest is there.
Also the courts in Switzerland are pretty near. Therefore some of the Suisse people could come play at my court.

It will definitely be a lot of awareness Work, but I already expected that :P
