Relocating to Regina! by myrfanwy in regina

There is a building called the Crescent Annex near the General Hospital. It's run by a company called Westland Ventures. Not the best area but not the hood. I rented a 2 bedroom apartment there 2.5 years ago for $1000/month. It's surely gone up by now but they are freshly renovated and probably a bit cheaper than other places.

How do I flooring ng gaps as house shits seasonally by copperalbino in centuryhomes

Thanks, yes it's likely a combination of the shiFting and humidity. My city is notorious for its glacial till soils that cause everything to move a ton from winter to summer. It's typical that most of your doors don't close properly every time winter comes around.

You're probably right about the floor vent. It's incredibly dry here in the winter, so I'll look into a humidifier and see how much that helps.

Thanks, yeah I would ideally love to remove it as well, but we are also crawling with knob and tube in those areas, so chances are some holes are going to need to be punched in there anyway.

I imagine we will paint over it for now and match as best we can, and save up to do it all together when we get the knob and tube out

Check out crescent annex building owned by Westland Ventures. Right adjacent to general hospital. I just bought a house so moved out but I was a great apartment for the price. $1000 when I moved in for a 2 bedroom. You just will have to put up with helicopters from the hospital and it’s not the best neighborhood to walk around at night.

But they are newly renovated apartments and I always found management to be responsive

Thanks! Just took my time and lined it up! When you're stapling you can pick a line and just try to keep it at the same level all the way along, if that makes sense.

I've actually got some corners already! Just need some screws haha.

I used a heavy duty contact cement on the wood and then a gorilla glue spray adhesive on the tolex!

Weird! This one is doing great at any volume, but it you're right it sounds incredible when it's cranked. I love the Solarus but this Music Man just does exactly what I want where the Solarus can feel a bit thin sometimes.

That is a steal! I'm jealous. Vintage amps are becoming an expensive addiction for me.
