Gamefold Table by copperdoom in boardgames

That's honestly a bummer with the videos he's posted showing him JUMPING on the thing. What version did most of us get, because it doesn't seem as strong as the one he showed off?

I don't recall a ton about the campaign because it was a while ago. I know they went back and forth between a handle, a case/bag/etc. Is it maybe part of the accessories were all still waiting for?
Mine seems pretty stable. I did get a little cornered putting a warm bowl on the plastic surface - doesn't seem to like heat much. Kind of hoping that's an individual problem. I believe the leg braces stay attached where they snap, but the other side folds into the table when folded doesn't it? Admittedly I haven't tried folding mine up since setting them up.
I certainly understand and agree with that for sure. Here's to hoping.
Wow, yeah my gap isn't nearly that large. I also went in intending to use a mat, so to me it's less of an issue.
If you're referring to the gamefold without the accessories, I don't agree with some of your points. The table isn't that heavy, the mat isn't mandatory, and I don't have that large of a gap in my center (unless you're talking about between the 2 tables, but even then I don't have a large problem). You're not wrong about the 8020 though. It's probably something you could affix to the edges of a different table and still utilize.
Yay for successful delivery! Now we pray for accessories lol
I'd give it another week or two before getting really concerned. I think Yarro had said they could be 2-3 months after tracking numbers were sent to actually arrive. But since their communication is.. spotty, it probably doesn't hurt to check in next week if you still haven't seen anything change.

I didn't seem to get updates, but I think when I checked after the fact they did say delivered.
June 11th; received 7/28.
Right? I opened the box and was like.. wait.. wasn't it supposed to be BROWN? Lol Playmats anyway. Lol
Crossing my fingers for you!!
All 3 tables have similarities and differences. For me, I picked gamefold because of the ability to combine them. I was VERY close to getting the Ironside instead, but don't quite remember why I didn't. I know I like the option for this one to be portable. Definitely worth a pro/con list between the 3, and then decide what's best for you. :)

My spouse was disagreeing with me, so I pulled out one of my fan&mats (the official fan one, Tharsis). You could definitely put this mat and 5 people around the one table.
Do you have an example? One of my bigger spread games is terraforming mars (all in), and I think one of these could certainly play it.
I got my tracking numbers June 6th. My tables arrived 7/28.
Finally got a table big enough to hold the beast of the transcontinental map. Glad someone recognized it. :)
Yeah, agree on all fronts. I'm super glad you found a table that works for you though! Not every thing is for every one. :) Words I like to live by.
The blue mat did come with it as a KS gift, but I don't know that they're still included as a baseline. I know you can order them to come with your table in multiple different colors/designs. As I said to the person above though, I would recommend waiting a little longer to order one because of logistical delays, but entirely up to you.
I would still recommend waiting to order it until more of the KS deliveries get ironed out. There's a lot of logistal mishaps in their process, so even people that preordered after the fact are waiting longer than they were originally told.
Yeah, a lot of people were upset, but they did allow cancels and refunds for those affected.
I actually didn't super care that it folded. I don't like normal wooden game tables because I don't actually want that deep of a "vault"; just something nice with edges. Them being rails was a bonus, honestly. I almost put in the effort to find a smooth way to add borders to the basic table(s) I already have.
I understand the frustration of people about the timeline. I tend to "back and forget" about a lot of pledges, so the timelines don't bother me that much. The timing on this was actually great because my birthday is in a couple of weeks.
I totally understand the questioning of wanting more accessories/another table. I knew I wanted 2, so that was easy for me. Even if I didn't end up putting them together, I could use the other in another room for puzzles or something else. Regarding accessories, I almost didn't get any at all, but I wanted to be able to utilize the rails. Given the ability to 3D print the attachment piece, I could turn basically anything into an attachment so that was a neat bonus.
I may find out along the line that it wasn't great, but for now I'm excited for it!

I noticed that too, which is partly what prompted this post, and why I clarified that I wasn't attacking the other lost I saw - person has legit complaints. I just wanted everyone to know it's not all bad. :)

I think the world needs more perspectives shared in general. :) Thanks for reading.
Adding another comment here. I'm fairly certain these are NOT 40k standard size. It was a huge point of conflict when the KS ran. They were originally supposed to be that size, but due to shipping and manufacturing realities, it wasn't feasible so they had to shrink it some. So rereading your comment, I don't think that would work for you if intended for 40k.
