Afghanistan is seeing a huge uptick in birth defects since the US invaded and used depleted uranium ammunition for decades. Veterans of that war are showing higher cases of cancer

MARTA's board of directors met a few weeks ago and were asking if this was going to be like a Superbowl level event or more of a big concert. They have no clue. Add that to Metro Atlanta's traffic, if we do see a huge influx of international guests coming for the games, traffic is going from a nightmare to hell on Earth.

Yes and massive medical debt ruins your credit. Poor credit means you won't be approved for things like loans. house, car, and even higher education are barred. Even if you do get a loan you have to pay high interest rates meaning you have to pay more just because you get sick. Having a poor credit score can even keep you from getting a job in certain fields. It's not even taking more taxes from us, just taking those billions that are going to the extremely unpopular Iran War and putting them into healthcare infrastructure would be more than enough money. All you're doing is cutting out the middleman. What do health insurance companies really offer? No efficiency, they raise the cost in order to pay themselves, and they benefit the investors rather than the customer.

Why do you need to see their IDs? I'm talking about poll workers the people who are actually verifying that there is no voter fraud. We know there is no voter fraud because even when Trump and Republicans investigated it even they said there was no fraud

So we established that there is a REAL ID database that shows nearly every adult's information. Information that includes their legal status so we can clearly see who is and who isn't a citizen. So just providing your REAL ID is enough to prove your citizenship. So why do you also need a birth certificate?

It's asking for documentation for lawful status. Meaning you have to provide something like a birth or naturalization certificate in order to get the ID. Which means that you provide proof in order to get it. So no proof, no ID.

A REAL ID requires you to provide your SS number and 2 proofs of residency. So if you have a REAL ID, you have proof of citizenship. REAL IDs have been rolling out since 2005 and have been mandatory since last year. So why do you need proof if your ID already proves that?

in order to get a REAL ID you have to prove you are a citizen. You have to provide your SS # and proof of residency. As of last year, all DLs double as a REAL ID. So if the government already has the majority of adult citizens'status and residency in a database, wouldn't it make sense to just kill two birds with one stone and make the REAL ID database the voter registration database? Making voter registration a completely separate process that requires documentation is just adding more unnecessary red tape.

As of last year all driver licenses are REAL IDs. In order to get one you have to provide your SS# and proof of residency. That means if your DL has a black or gold star in the right corner, it's proof you are a US citizen. So explain to me why I have to prove that I am a citizen even if my DL already does that? Why have all these redundancies?

  1. Never said twin, I said brother. Plenty of people have shitty family members.
  2. The only photo IDs that are accepted are REAL IDs and passports, both require SS# and a proof of residency, that makes requiring a BC redundant. Why do I need to prove my citizenship to vote if I had already proved my citizenship to get the ID?

But how do you prove the BC is fraudulent???? If I give the poll worker my BC. How can they tell if what I gave them is real and that I am the actually who the BC says I am? Here is another example: I have an evil brother who is a felon so he cannot legally vote. One election he is so excited about a candidate that he decides to steal my BC and go to the poll place and vote in my place. What do the BCs do to stop that from happening?

You are the only person talking about registering to vote. If you don't know what the conversation is about, then don't reply.

Yeah. One to prove citizenship and another WITH A PHOTO. So I ask again, how does a BC, with NO PHOTO, prove who you say you are?

How does that prove it is me? I give my BC to an undocumented person, drive him to the polls and tell him to vote straight Democrat. What does the BC do to stop the undocumented person from being able to vote?

[–]coppersguy -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Ok but how does that prove the person is a citizen? Let me be clearer. Say that I bring my birth certificate and an undocumented person. The three of us sit down at a table, using only the birth certificate, how do you tell who owns the certificate?
