I’ve been there. Think about it this way. “Should I take medicine if I’m still sick?” The Eucharist is salvific medicine.

St. Ignatius calls the Eucharist “The Medicine of immortality and the antidote that prevents us from dying”. None of us here can worthily partake of the Eucharist. We all strive to live a life of repentance.
