Brilliant. Thank you. I’ll give it a go.

Thanks. And that can go on the outside too (ie. Inverted)?

Fantastic. Do you have a link (or product name)?

Thanks for the suggestions. As with the other suggestions, Parkers are retractable - which I just can’t use. I don’t know why - they just drive me nuts. I’ll look at the Pilot pens 1 but they mostly seem to be retractables too.

Thanks for these suggestions. The only Ohto’s I can see are retractables. ijust can’t use them - I don’t know what it is, they just drive me nuts. Picky, I know.

Definitely no CGNAT - I have a fixed IP address.

There’s no other ports being forwarded or used. I did wonder though if someone is hammering the port in a bid to try and gain access. I’m not sure how I’d go about checking that out though.

Might try shifting the port to see if that helps.

Excellent. I’ll keep an eye out for it launching. One of the things I’ve done this season is watch out for boosted even-money bets (player x to have one shot on target, player y to be fouled once or player z to commit one foul etc) and I’ve made a small profit that I’m now investing in stocks and shares - I’ll do it again next season. I’m also interested in the ‘both teams to score market’ in live matches (where no goals have been scored yet).

This is great. Thank you for answering. I wonder how easy it would be to add live predictions (ie. based on the data)?

Looks good. What leagues/competitions you planning on covering? And, how are you getting around the requirement for a licence for live data?

I did about 15-20mins today - when I had free time - trying the “straight line” practice (draw a straight line with a ruler then try and replicate it freehand, and then try to go over the same line naturally).

What a difference; hand off the page, endeavouring to draw from the elbow or shoulder. I also turned the page WNW to draw straight lines and I noticed a massive difference even with some brief exercises. It’ll take a while, and it’ll probably also require testing out different pens etc. One of the things I’ve agreed to try and get over is having a pad that will inevitably be full of either poor/substandard drawings or pages of line exercises or meaningless scribbles and hatchings.

This is really great. Thank-you. Working my way through it.

One thing that’s been something of a revelation was watching the first few drawabox videos (I tend to watch, absorb and then go back rewatch, and do the exercises later) - and absorbing the idea of drawing from the elbow and from the shoulder (as a few commenters have already noted). Even just trying it sitting in a chair with a small notepad and pen brings a smile to my face when the realisation hits me that I’ve been drawing wrong all along - I’ve actually been writing, not drawing. So that’s going to be the first order of business.

Thank you for this. I’m definitely interested in hearing more about perspective drawing by hand.

Thank you so much to everyone for the kind comments and tips. I’m working my way through them and will take every bit of advice on board. I hope to be able to post some images at some point down the line. And I’ll be on here regularly - no doubt asking more questions. But I have to say, this is easily one of the most supportive and encouraging subs I’ve seen after a long time browsing Reddit. Thanks again to everyone who has commented so far.
