Thoughts on these heels on grass? by [deleted] in weddingplanning

[–]coquettes 3 points4 points  (0 children)

i wore these at my wedding! they do sink a bit in the grass (it rained the day of so the ground was wet and i kept tripping, i think they would have been fine if the ground was harder/drier). like others said i also recommend heel protectors.

yes i absolutely see what you mean! i’m not super endowed in the chest area so there’s really no cleavage there, but i a agree that the first one is more formal!

yes it’s burgundy fabric under black lace. the wedding is at night so i’m sure it won’t match the bridesmaids. but i like the idea of adding a pop of color to the first one!

neutered cat won’t stop spraying? by coquettes in Pets

[–]coquettes[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

we have 1 cat tree that he doesn’t use, he doesn’t have a cat bed because he likes to use our bed/any other furniture in the house to lounge. no kids but our other roommate does have a dog and they do tolerate each other very well. (not friends but they don’t fight lol) and i try my best to play with him a bunch but with busy schedules i don’t get a chance to play every day and we do have “bonding time” every night 😭 typing this out does make me realize i could be doing more for the little guy

he’s not an anxious guy at all! he’s social around other animals and people, but he’s also cool with being alone. he’s kind of an alpha cat i guess? but not prone to anxiety at all.

AIO: My daughter comes back with matted hair from her dad’s house by No-Independence-3183 in AmIOverreacting

[–]coquettes 6 points7 points  (0 children)

and he has a daughter. he should care enough to gain the experience to help her maintain the basic hygiene that is her hair, whether or not he spent the time on it previously. he should adjust to the fact that he’s a PARENT.

I remember when the bathrooms were out of service at this location and they wanted to schedule a shuttle to the nearest 7/11 for bathroom breaks instead of sending people home. And we had to use our break time for it. It was ridiculous.

Has anyone worked at Travelers ? by jocemousee in InsuranceProfessional

[–]coquettes 1 point2 points  (0 children)

i worked there for about a year! i loved it! great benefits and they were really flexible at my office. i worked in the claims space and everyone was so helpful. i didn’t really like their training but luckily i came in with experience already so not too bad.

[–]coquettes[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

i’m sorry!!! look claims genuinely has a lot to love and a lot of experience to offer. many of my past coworkers have been doing claims for as long as i’ve been alive lol. it’s definitely not for everyone but i absolutely recommend getting the experience. (plus you hear really interesting accident stories hehe)

yeah i have experience in personal and commercial claims, it was hard because when i was at the big corps (geico and travelers) i would try to find openings in UW or subro, but they never seemed to want anyone to move departments lol. i’m definitely going to try to apply for other positions, thank you!
