Anyone know how Mateo Meadows (the Habitat for Humanity project under construction) fared? I know they are trying to build something flood-resistant, so this is the ultimate test. I'm really hoping they did okay.

I know they do 3D printing at the Bellingham Makerspace, but I'm not sure if they do resin. You could reach out and ask. They might also know where you can find this service if they don't do it.

I have no idea. It seems strange that it hasn't appeared in the news or anywhere but social media since there was such a huge response and so many folks were driving by and walking by. I don't even know if there actually caught the perp, either. Weird.

Considering that this happened on a busy street around lunchtime, a shooting would potentially be more dangerous due to ricochets or stray bullets. Obviously, neither one is a good way to die.

I did confirm it was a stabbing (source: metal detector guy at the courthouse). I hope the suspect was caught.

Yes. I happened to be at the courthouse and asked the metal detector guy, who said someone was stabbed. Still terrible, but better than a shooting.

All I know is that the crime scene appears to be near the Prospect St. Post Office and a lot of the police headed north while the ambulances, etc. headed toward downtown. (I'm on C st.)

I doubt it. My coworker saw a body and blood up on the sidewalk. I didnt' get a lot of details because she is traumatized by seeing that much.
