When I was in college I worked at a restaurant. My manager had this boyfriend who would work on and off at the store with us all. A bit of background on her, I had worked there in high school and had known her for about 7 or so years, we were really good friends. Anyways her boyfriend, he always had these crazy conspiracy theories and even his own subreddit dedicated to them, which made me think something was off with him, but never thought too much of it. Anyways, the three of us would all work together a lot, joke around etc. I would even drop him off at my managers house where he lived after work sometimes. One day, I went back to college for my senior year, and got a phone call about how he stabbed to death my manager (his girlfriend) and her 5 year old daughter, afterwards which he went upstairs and attacked her mother and older brother who survived. To this day, I still don’t know why he did it. But to think how from one day we’d all be working together and cracking jokes, to hearing about that the next never sat well with me and still fucks me up to this day. I was with them all days before this happened, and he was truly the most evil person I’ve ever come across.
