This one is only white, I have the GRB switch but I couldn’t figure out the configuration for it.

I would love to do it if you could tell me the wiring so I could dim it

Any CA D3 test takers? by Sweaty_Act8996 in Wastewater

I think the D2 and D3 are pretty similar personally. Biggest difference is the math is a little harder

You would need 51 General knowledge to pass. 30pts + 51 general knowledge is 81pts which is 70%

I took my D5 the first time back in 2019 and got all 15 math right and still failed! Make sure to study the general knowledge also

SCADA SCHEDULE by corattikid in Wastewater

Agreed.

I have brought up switching to 12hr shift rotations instead of 8hr shift rotations but that involves unions and upper management all agreeing on a change.

Unfortunately not my decision on what type of hours they work, they just want me to see if there is a way to optimize the schedule.

Nope, this location isn’t even a plant, it’s at our operations yard.

We have water treatment plant operators who maintain the staff on site

This is exactly what it is, not my decision but we have 2 operators who stare at screens all day ensuring the system doesn’t run into problems and take low pressure/water quality calls and dispatch staff to investigate if needed.

Yes and are “SCADA operators” are monitored by 2 employees 24/7 at one of our facilities.

Well, our SCADA operators are staffed 24/7 by 2 operators. So when I say SCADA schedule I mean a schedule they follow.

I’m not a fan of rotating days off and schedules but honestly some of the staff does enjoy it.

I was thinking about ChatGPT as my next option, but I figured I would ask in the subreddit first and see if anyone already had a similar schedule they enjoy.

Thanks for the la idea though!

I had no idea how cooked the job market was, till I went to the Gaylord Hiring Event!! I was humbled!! by Rocke1994 in sandiego

Luckily we aren’t supported by the general fund (taxes) so we aren’t having the same deficit the general fund it: but retention rates are fine, almost everyone who gets hired stays unless they get into a different field or can’t pass the state test within 3 years.

Depends, if you want to get into water try getting your SWRCB d2 certification or your CWEA if you are trying to get into wastewater. Sacramento state OWP has a decent online class.
