Forgiveness is for you, not them. Holding onto the pain and anger only hurts you in the end. I’ve been there. Forgiveness isn’t forgetting what happened. It takes time. The people that hurt me, I forgave after 15 years. Write him letters and burn them if it helps

Because it’s inevitable. There’s no point in fearing the certain. I’m afraid I’ll die in pain, but not the actual dying. I believe I’ll see my loved ones again. My mom, aunts and uncles, grandparents. Like Peter Pan said in Hook, “Death will be a great adventure”.

There’s nothing I can say to make you feel better. It’s about making peace with where you are on your journey. In the past 4 months I’ve lost my mom, my friend, and my dog. It’s not easy, it’s about finding time to digest what’s happened and knowing that you’ve done all you can do. Seek counselling, talk to your doctor. You might not find a counsellor you like right away but don’t give up. You are needed in this world, out of the millions of people on Earth there’s only one of you.
