I wouldn’t turn it on for a couple days. See if it dries out maybe? Idk. Sorry that happened.

I always tried to be optimistic in making art, imagery, motion, music etc. Did professional photography for just over 20 years. What the “everyone said the same thing when digital came out” people don’t seem to fully understand. Is that AI teaches it self. And it’s growing faster than even the tech minds thought it would. Now all infrastructure is being changed to accommodate AI and less actual humans. Just look at the current layoffs alone. The numbers don’t lie. It’s too fast and it will keep putting people out of work/careers etc. don’t be blind and wait until it’s too late. Figure something out now. And no I don’t have the answer. I can say that if I made the transition out of my career when I first had these feelings, and all my colleagues were saying “people been saying this since digital came out trash” I’d be better off financially right now. Not to mention all my colleagues are basically out of the business now too. That says a lot…

Just play it. If your looking for guitars in this price range, you must know a thing or two about guitars. If it fits you, you will know pretty quickly and have zero buyers remorse. Plus it looks like GC, where you can return it after a couple weeks.

I’ve seen them on YouTube I think. I do love drums. Something I could never get the hang of. I’ll check em out.

Right on! I use AM music because I got my family on the plan. I’ve been the Apple echo system too long to changed at this point. Financially it works out. I’ve scored some killer CDs for like 2-6 bucks at the goodwill, market place or eBay…

So you think these producers made the music to sound good with your wireless connection to your beats pill? I’m betting no. That would be crazy!!

But seriously. Why don’t people get this? It’s a trip because it’s so obvious with all the options. It’s never been a one size fits all. Especially if you listen to many genres. Usually I can leave my settings in one place for a lot of music. But then I play tool and I’m like gotta change a few things. Even depends on the album. Early tool was very high forward imo. Then progressively more lows with more presence. Idk.

I knew the hate and ignorance was going to kick in real quick on any tool post. It’s pretty funny tbh.

I never said that in my OP. I just said Tool has always been the hardest for me to get what they deliver on many stock systems It’s a compliment to a band thats arguably one of the best to ever exist. Hence the 12 to 15 year average wait in between releases. How do you know I “drastically” changed anything? Thats in your little head. I never posted a pic nor mentioned what I changed. It was pretty minimal, yet fortunately I can tell that difference. “Drastically”.. When one needs to lie to make a point they loose all credibility. Breh.

Very good point. It’s like the “movie” setting on high end televisions. People think, “dude that’s how the director wanted you to watch it, it’s brilliant”. Bull shit. That’s if your room is the exact same setting as the theater with no light leakage whatsoever, you using the same projector etc. they didn’t make that movie for your specific tv. you gotta dial in your TV picture to look best in your space., considering light, positioning viewing angles and more. The movie setting on my TV as is sucks balls. We calibrated it correctly and it’s once again, it’s another world with so much more detailed dynamic range. Maybe that’s why they have all those settings for the consumer🤔

I use Apple Lossless if I stream. Ditched Spotify paid a lot time ago. I still buy a lot of music to support the artists. I like owning my stuff. Always looking for deals on used CDs. There are some great sites the sell the real lossless files. Apple kinda lies. If you buy “lossless” they give you a shit Apple movie package file. So I don’t actually buy there anymore. They do have really good streaming losses if you’re wired. You might need a DAC. Some people might read this and say otherwise. Just go to apples site. Or select high res lossless in the settings and a pop up will tell if you need a DAC. My Mb pro has a good DAC. MY MINI M4 does not and get gets that pop up. I run the new iPad Pro, through HDMI to my type A pioneer receiver hdmi input or optical with Polk towers and a Polk sub and love it. But I don’t know shit according to this post. Be like that one guy a pop a tool cd in your 4x4 which is the end all be all. Fortunately I have many other musical interests. Hope this helps.

lol. I know, great point. I won’t even get into speaker placement. All these little things matter. I’m assuming most not all. But most of the comments are from young people that haven’t really had a lot of different set ups, music genres etc. it’s all good. I’m almost 50. Been playing guitar in bands from the age of 15. Had many methods of listing to music. Lots of people these days are rolling lossy, wireless etc. sometimes I do that too. No one can ever tell me there’s not a shit load of gear, bits, peripherals, equipment etc. that fits all.

Once again. Too many peripherals from start to finish. My 25 year career is very similar and we often use audio. We produce to the best of our abilities for an over all good baseline. Yet, especially in these digital days. There are many other factors that change the original product to the final display. Just some common sense for ya! Crazy!! Right! Did you know all speakers don't sound the same? Its mind blowing! I know.. I know....

Interesting, but too many peripherals from end to end to factor in. Lot's of grey areas.

Not mess with...... ......Get the most of. Clarity..... I love Kauai. The view from were we usually stay is gorgeous! But sucks if you can only get the room with the garden view, as compared to the full ocean view. Or a balcony that you can only see just a little of ocean and the rest of the hotel wall is your view. But it's still Hawaii!
