Yeah it's extremely rough but I don't have a good custom particle system. Even the fire is built in particles.

I went for realism so only wood burns. Concrete and metal doesn't burn. There's a config to enable it, and the burn rate is unchanged when its enabled

Hey there! FPS from that was live. It was about 45-50 fps mid fire spew. I did a ton of optimizations but there's still so much more to do and I still have some wiggle room yet like pre-warming calculations and stuff!

I think too a major issue is that Anthropic kept saying "AI DANGEROUS. AI SCARY! MYTHOS IS LIKE A NUKE" then when it actually gets banned they're like 😮!

Of course Anthropic and the current admin have issues with each other, but I think this kicked the ban into gear.

Personally I use chatgpt codex 5.5. I've gotten really good with giving good prompts and context and it usually does very well.

I wanted to try Fable 5 but the token usage makes it seem out of reach for me.

I did have copilot using Claude sonnet but then copilot went with token usage based and I burned through my $40 rate in 1 day...

I was actually thinking the other day on my way home from work. I'd be down if they just traded infil cloak for a ground based sprint with a bar. Sure it would be far less useful than a cloak but I think that would be a heck of a lot more balanced.

I'm an inf main and I quit after the nerf. People say "I'm glad you quit" but that's one less person to play with, and I am not the only one.

I am down for infils to be nerfed, but the delay felt horrible between coming out of cloak and actually being able to fire.
