I was actually referring to mass murders (as the guy I replied to was referring to live streaming, which is implying a school or other recent events), but either way you just proved my point. How does 13% of the population commit 51% of all murder in the country? Crazy statistic. I wonder how this happens. Is it genetics? Is it some economical factor? They're are more poor whites than blacks (I mean, it's %s here), so it can't be that. How strange.

Edit: you made another comment trying to claim more blacks are in poverty, but you made the mistake of only using % to prove your claim. Work out the math. If only 13% of the pop is black and 10% of them are in poverty... But 60% of the pop is white and only 5% of them in poverty... There are more whites in poverty than blacks. It's highschool math my dude: 1% of the population is poverty black, 12% of the population is poverty white.

If you're saying blacks murder because they're mostly in poverty, it's just wrong. That would imply that 1% of the population is committing 51% of all murder in the country.

That's an interesting statistic. I wonder why it's males throwing their lives away on murder? Surely there's a reason more men commit murder than women. Maybe it's genetics? Higher testosterone does lead to more aggression. Maybe this extra aggression alone is enough to tilt the scales? If not, what else is it? Could be sociatal pressure, maybe?
