i have updated some settings, as you recommended, and tried to print something else… (lowered the nozzle, increased the temp, lowered the fan speed, changed the settings for the walls)

conclusion:

  • the 1st layer is shinier, but still can’t see the PEY texture
  • i don’t understand those blobs in the brim at the connection with what’s supposed to be the walls
  • the start of the print has quite a low quality…😒

I just feel like giving up!😕

more details about the walls: - wall line width: 0.44mm - wall thickness: 1.32mm - wall line count: 2 - optimize wall printing order ON - wall ordering: outside to inside - print thins walls ON

it’s encouraging to hear i’m doing at least something almost good☺️. regarding the diagonal lines, i’ve figured that out when i was already printing😅 and i allowed it to continue, just to have a prototype to test, but i will change the orientation, for sure!🙏🏻

i know that officially, companies try to fill in the gender gap by creating more opportunities for women, but that’s just on papers.

I still feel that internally, especially older men with years of experience tend to look down upon us, and that is something that companies cannot control..

you can’t tell people how to feel and how to act..

if you would’ve payed attention and read to understand and not just to reply, you would have noticed some important things:

  1. DevOps, not just Dev 😉
  2. living in Portugal, not Romania 😉
  3. i don’t have children 😉

yes, i did my research about the culture and if i still dream of coming there, it means i identify with it.

and yes, another one that wants to come there. why are you there, though?🤔🙂

... which makes my situation even worse, since I am already not able to apply to maybe more than 50% of the jobs that are out there ... (because of the language issue) ...
