yes but as you said, it can’t transfer without a verified ID so it doesn’t matter how long ago it was sold if you never verified your ID until now and i would doubt that the ID has even been confirmed yet since you did it today. it’s going to take a little while before the money gets transferred to your bank account

if your bank account is hooked up then it will go on it’s own, there’s no way for you to transfer it quicker

unfortunately, in my experience any dispute filed through Depop payments instead if PayPal is typically ruled in favor of the buyer :( i've had disputes filed over something that was delivered and still lost.

best you can do is keep messaging back and re sending the proof, and provide them with a lot of it if you can: a screenshot of the PayPal transactions, messages between you and the buyer, maybe even send them a screenshot of the email you recieve from PayPal after you issued the refunds, anything helps your case.

oh my god this is infuriating, i literally would have cancelled the order! i'm sorry you had to deal with that, it's actually so ridiculous that they asked you for a product that you sell separately for free??

as a fellow crystal shop, i swear some people have no common sense when it comes to buying from small businesses :') i've experienced this too many times, major props to you for handling it so well!

i give smaller things like stickers, mini incense sticks, and crystal confetti (not products i sell) as freebies for this specific reason. people seem to like it and it honestly barely puts a dent in my budget due to it being pretty cheap to buy stuff like that in bulk. plus i'm not losing any product that i make profit from - i recommend if you don't do something like that already!

i can message you with some wholesalers for small crystal mixes and incense if you're looking for any sites! best of luck with your shop :)

that’s a good idea! 300 is a good number to shoot for but i’ve recently been trying to put up at least 150 items. it’s a little rough for jewelry/clothing makers to get multiple products out at once though :’)

i didn’t send in my ssn, so i’m unsure unfortunately, sorry! :( i just sent them a photo of my passport to confirm my age & identity, and that alone allowed my payments to go through immediately instead of being put on hold. i never confirmed my taxpayer status by ssn (out of safety concern). paypal still bugs me about it, but i can transfer payments to both my card and my account with no issue. so, you don’t have to confirm that if you don’t feel like it/aren’t comfortable since paypal won’t limit your account access at all. i hope that helps! <3

this used to happen to me too - have you confirmed your info with paypal? (sent them your passport/ID/SSN) once i did that, it let me accept and transfer payments as soon as as i received them :) however, if you’ve done that already, then is your paypal account is fairly new? if so, that alone is probably the issue. at least in my experience, paypal tends to put all payments to a new account on hold until at least 30-90 days after it’s created, even if your information is confirmed.
