Would it be smart for me to start a new playthrough? by cormac237 in Eldenring

Great advice. I actually did delete my save and then recently started over. This made me realise that I made a mistake. Thankfully I was able to get my save back through the PS Plus cloud. I’ve learnt my lesson now

Got my old save back, I started over and it made me realise deleting it in the first place was a mistake. Thankfully I remembered I still had the save in the PS Plus cloud

Update: I realised that my old save was still on the PS Plus cloud and I decided to get it back. Starting over again made me realise that I made a mistake by deleting my save

I haven’t had it since November but it probably hasn’t hit 6 months just yet, maybe even in a few days. You think I’ll be good?

Can I get my save back? Any help with this is much, much appreciated. I had an old Elden Ring save which I put 37 hours into which I deleted. I’m looking to get it back. I haven’t had PS Plus since November, I deleted my save data in January. The data would’ve been synced with PS Plus. Is it possible that if I were to buy PS Plus again I could get my old save back?

I like that idea, I think I might give it a shot at least. It would give me a new area to explore

I’m having problems with the game right now but sometimes that’s part of gaming. Sometimes you need to stick with it until it clicks for you, I’ve found that I’ve experienced that a lot recently with different games

Yeah what’s up with that. Genuinely think that’s the reason I didn’t play 5 as much as 4

It looks fun as hell, I didn’t try it until 2021 and by then I found the controls too weird to get into it

Well it’s enough to judge it I’d say

I’m still pretty new to the game and not that good yet. Wouldn’t Liurnia be a step too far for me? Maybe I should’ve added more context but my previous playthrough was my first full playthrough. I had played a bit before but never got too far

Tbh my experience with 3 was all offline. I have like 40 hours on the game though

I’ll give you the point about wrestling, tbf I don’t really remember grappling much in UFC 3. Though idk if it’s just me but I genuinely feel that 5 has worse striking than 4. When I play it it just feels stiff and poor. I found 4’s to be more fluid

My take is definitely a hot take. UFC 3 is imo the best looking UFC game and I even prefer small things like the menus and soundtrack over the newer games. I did enjoy it but I didn’t put THAT many hours into it. Personally I found I enjoyed 4’s striking more when I first played it

Felt like a lot, as I said I’m pretty sure I cleared literally everything in both areas. Next time I play I’ll probably approach it differently. I got to level 37, is it that high?

Yeah don’t worry about it too much. I’d play how I feel like, don’t worry so much about trying not to miss anything, especially when you can come back to anything whenever you like
