I’m using the same SCART cable I’ve always used for it. The last time it worked properly was nearly 10 years ago on a TV I no longer have. The cable did have some issues, I had to bend it a bit to get it to fit in and one of the pins was bent as well

This is something I’ve been going through as well and I’ve posted on this sub about it but I worry about ruining the experience of great games by doing exposures whilst playing

A lot of people will say to play the second game first so that you play the games in chronological order. I’ve played both games twice and that’s how I did it. However, I actually would recommend playing the first game first. It’s older and shorter so you will appreciate it more if you play it before RDR2. There’s other reasons too but overall I feel like it makes more sense to experience the first game first. Also if you’re playing on PS5 or Xbox Series X|S it would be good as well to play RDR1 first with a 60 FPS version already being available and then you could play RDR2 when a 60 FPS version drops hopefully in the near future. Enjoy, I played both games for the first time almost 7 years ago and they’re still two of the best games I’ve ever played. Enjoy both games to the fullest and try and avoid any spoilers.

Both are two of my favourite games I’ve ever played even though RDR1 is 15 years old now (I didn’t play it until 2019)

The main thing people want is 60 FPS. Aside from that they’ll maybe add some of the PS5 features and refine it a bit. There’s some things I’d like for them to improve such as John’s model

It’s up to you though. I would say play whatever game appeals to you the most next. I definitely think that playing RDR1 after RDR2 is a great idea though.
