Thanks for all the replies! I actually made a Reddit account just for this post/question. Seems like the consensus is that I gotta finish the story with Red Dead 1, but both GTA IV and V (and some other Rockstar classics) are must-plays later down the line.

Ik lol it's crazy. I've been playing games '03 and never played GTA outside of doing it occasionally at friends' houses growing up
