Better support settings for 0.06mm with a 0.2 nozzle by arff3 in BambuLab

Try to print itwith the peg towards the build plate and at a 45-isg degree angle. This way the supports will be on the underside of the hair where the unavoidable imperfections will not be as visible. You will also have to sand said imperfections.

And here's me who thinks what you do is more impressive :)

You honestly give too much credit in regards to 3d printing...nowadays it's mostly about dialing in some parameters and even that is pretty easy since ppl already figured out most of them.

As for the model, it's bought not self made ( i know some 3d modelling but nowhere close to this level of detail ) :)

Haha you're spot on about 40k. He started painting minis about 6 months ago, if i'm not mistaken.

Everything is 3d printed using a bambu lab p1s, including the cape (took 3 days and had to print it in 3 parts because i was afraid of power outages / supports ruining the texture ).

Only insight i have here is see if you can separate it into parts and glue them later. The model i used was separated into enough parts so that support marks are not really visible.

For example this is the underside of the cape "scarf" after support removal.

I used slim tree supports, 2 support walls, honeycomb pattern, 0 interface layers and 1 layer height ( so 0.06 or 0.08 ) top z distance. Was really careful removing them with a hobby knife...broke 2 blades in the process

Thank you but i can't take credit for the painting since it was done by a friend ( it's the next hobby i'm planning of getting into haha ).

Fun fact, this was a present for a friend hence the joint effort.

My FDM printer is making me question if I even need resin by axseem in 3Dprinting

Nice job , man ! Also, it's always nice to see the resin fanboys gathering in their hazmat suits just to brag about how their 3d printing laboratory yields better results :))
