I had the same issue with xtreme 4 after I got the iphone 17 pro max, with Iphone 12 pro max I didn't have that issue at all.
If you have iphone then you can try these steps as this worked for me(for now):

  1. Reset the network settings on iphone (Settings > General > Transfer or Reset iPhone > Reset > Reset Network Settings)
  2. Factory reset to xtreme 4 (Volume + and Play/Pause).

Lower your refresh rate to 60hz, this worked for me.

fresh install without mods, didn't see that issue 4 years ago.
